Re: Pembrokeshire Armed Response officers, PC’s Darren Trevan and John Woodcock, had a bit of a surprise whilst on patrol in the Carmarthen area this morning after being overtaken by what first appeared to be a speeding motorist.
However, upon speaking to the occupants, it quickly became apparent that one of them, a heavily pregnant lady, was in the very final stages of labour. A quick master-plan was devised where PC Woodcock drove the couple’s vehicle to hospital, escorted by PC Trevan, leaving the driver to comfort his partner.
Thankfully they all made it to the nearest hospital just in time for the birth of a lovely baby boy.
Mother, father and baby are all doing well and both officers are recovering from the effects of shock!
