Penarth resident Margaret Turner, 95, is the most recent victim of this scam. She has been targeted three times in the past 10 months by fraudsters who have taken almost £20,000 from her.<br />
During the first incident, a fraudster claiming to be from the HSBC fraud investigation team called Miss Turner saying her account had been compromised. He advised her to withdraw her money and deposit it into the account numbers he provided.
