Re: Schoolboy Troy Wheaton, 11, was left needing nine stitches in his tongue following an altercation at Idris Davies School in Abertysswg in the Rhymney Valley, south Wales, but he hasn't been back since January 14 after he was left "bleeding and crying."<br />
His father Matthew Wheaton, 34, is angry because he says no one from the school let them know what had happened.<br />
Mr Wheaton was shopping with his wife Kathryn, 33, where on their way back from shopping when they received a phone call from Kathryn's mother.<br />
Mr Wheaton said: "Kathryn's niece was in school and said something had happened with Troy and his mouth was bleeding. We had been hearing things through the family.<br />
"We were going to ring the school when our older daughter said he had been in some sort of fight and his mouth was bleeding. Not a single person or member of staff from the school rang us." he added.
