Re: Two men have died in a microlight crash in mid Wales, police have said.<br />
Emergency services were called after the small aircraft crashed into a field at Cwmbach, Builth Wells, Powys, just before midday on Sunday.<br />
The men from Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, have been named locally as Scott Penlington and Nick Jefferies.<br />
The Independent Air Accidents Investigation Branch attended the scene on Sunday and its investigations are continuing.<br />
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called shortly after midday yesterday [Sunday 18 September 2016] to reports of a light aircraft collision in the Cwmbach area of Builth Wells.<br />
"We sent a paramedic in a rapid response car, a crew in an emergency ambulance and an ambulance officer to the scene."<br />
