Re: A speed camera van that got itself firmly wedged on top of a roadside verge had to be towed free by police – much to the amusement of a passing motorist.<br />
The comical scene was captured on camera by a driver from Bridgend.<br />
He was passing through the village of Laleston, Bridgend when he saw the Ford Transit, in the livery of the GoSafe partnership, in a bit of a pickle.<br />
“I think they must have tried to get onto the old concrete slab which I think was an old bus stop,” said the man, who did not wish to be named.<br />
“But I think he tried to go over the high curb and got stuck.”
