Re: Brian Clarke, a vulnerable pensioner was exploited, bullied, fleeced of cash and then burgled by cruel conmen Jay Radford, Richard Coffey and Richard O'Brien, Swansea Crown court has heard.<br />
As well as stealing £10,000 in cash the fraudsters got away with a pocket watch given to the victim by his dying father that he intended to pass on to a relative.<br />
The court heard Mr Clarke, who is now aged 89, met a man called Richard Patrick O’Brien in a market in Whitland, Carmarthenshire, in May 2015.<br />
The judge sentenced O’Brien to a total of two years in prison and Coffey to 18 months. Radford was jailed for 14 months.
