80 year old  Margaret Cooper and her son Norman Cooper, 55, both pleaded guilty to animal neglect charges after an investigation by Ceredigion Council into the state of Gilfachwith Farm in Bangor Teifi, near Llandysul, Wales, UK. <br />
An investigation was launched in May, 2018, which discovered that 84 cattle had died because of serious neglect.<br />
Carcasses of dead cows were found decaying alongside surviving cattle. Among those that had survived, some had to be put down following examination due to the seriousness of their health and their suffering.
