Re: Saturday morning the volunteer crew of the Mumbles inshore lifeboat Mark Lott were called to the aid of a dog which had jumped onto a deserted rock.<br />
The dog 'Charlie' had escaped his owners and jumped from a ridge onto a rock in the middle of the rising tide. The crew were called in to return Charlie to his very grateful owners. <br />
Crew member Rhys John said 'We would urge all dog owners to keep their dogs on a lead while out on the cliff paths and always contact the Coastguard rather than try and rescue your dog yourself'.
