Concerned residents felt tremors and experienced lights flickering at around 9pm on Friday (05 June 2009).<br />
The British Geological Survey later confirmed there had been an earthquake with a magnitude of three on the Richter scale.<br />
It said the epicentre of the tremor was just over six miles north east of Port Talbot.<br />
