Re: Carmarthenshire Coroner's Inquest into the death of 63 year old Carole Denby, who died after an agonising eight years living with a rogue piece of metal in her leg.<br />
Denby from Llanelli, Wales, was only proved right that there was a piece of metal in her ankle after she was cremated.<br />
She had broken her left ankle in 2006, but attempts to repair it were unsuccessful after numerous operations.<br />
Her widower, Howard, is demanding answers as to how his wife’s medics had failed to find a two-inch titanium surgical screw, which he believes led to his wife’s continuing and unbearable agony , and eventually, he says, her death.
